Last spring I returned to my parents’ home and found photos of oil paintings that I’ve painted about a decade ago. Inspired by these old photos, I went out and bought new paintbrushes and tubes of oil colors. The feeling of painting oil colors on canvas once more was similar to meeting an old friend from my childhood. Perhaps with a bit more practice, I will be able to open another art show. Unlike the flowers that were in existence for my art show, the ones here never die.

Nice thought!! Would love to see more of your work with canvass. The portraits and your description brought a few tears. You have talents. I am being quite sincere.
